This artwork was inspired by the children's book "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," a classic tale of good versus evil. A lamppost was signficant in the story and it can be seen reflected in the mirror of the wardrobe. The chesspieces in the corner of the scene represent the main characters: the lion, King Aslan; the White Witch Queen; and the 4 children.
One of the pawns stands separate from the other 3 and those familiar with the story will recognize which of the children it represents.
This print is only available in the 20x20" size; if you want a similar print but in a smaller size you might like The Golden Rule.
Only 5 prints left before the edition is sold out.
