My warm-toned take on the children's book "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," a classic tale of good versus evil. The title of this image refers to both the lion, King Aslan's rule in the magical world of Narnia as well as the golden tones of the print itself. The chesspieces in the corner of the scene represent the main characters: the lion, King Aslan; the White Witch Queen; and the 4 children. One of the pawns stands separate from the other 3 and those familiar with the story will recognize which of the children it represents.
